I recently signed up to an online blogging challenge called #YourEdustory 2015. It is a challenge for educators everywhere to share thoughts and ideas on certain topics. This weeks challenge (which I am almost late in submitting) is to define "learning" in 100 words or less. An almost impossible task but i'll give it a shot.

Learning happens everywhere

Learning is the
unlimited, never-ending process in which we come to understand new things.  It is the process in which we have gone through some sort of experience that has left an impression (however small) upon us and imprinted in our minds. 

Learning can be both subtle and blatant and occurs from the moment we wake until the moment we fall asleep (and even while we dream). We learn from birth until death with trial and error forming much of our new knowledge. 

I don't know how insightful that sounds but it is the best way I could think of to articulate something that is very difficult to define.
